Supplementary Information
20030324: Zoning lines changed near the c/os400 (Royal way). Prior zoning lines were estimates that did not follow the parcels near by. New subdivision plan showed parcel lot adjustment to show c/os boundary.
Originally created by Michael Codron using the landuse data and parcel. The parcels having more than one zoning are manually revised. When originally created. the same zones were grouped to form multi-part feature. There were four shapefiles that worked together: zone_text, zone_note, zone_bound, and zone_general. Tyler Corey maintained those four shapefiles as best as he could; however, due to complexity of having four shapefiles and multipart features, mistakes (overlapping, sliver polygons, holes, missing attribute values, etc) started to compile to the point where data no longer was reliable. The zoning boundaries were maintained in zone_bound. The map display scheme was maintained in zone_general, and the actual data (zoning info) were maintained in zone_text. Some data only existed as label only. The decision was made to clean up the data. In December of 2002, this shapefile (zoning.shp) was created by converting multipart feture to singlepart feature, cleaning up the zone_bound (removing overlaps, slivers and holes) and spatially joining the data from zone_text.
Results were inspected to correct mistakes in spatial joining of text info to zoning.

Zoning shapefile now has two attribute fields: zone (a detailed zoning info) and zone_gen (a general zoning used for display purposes).
